Modern Day Manufacture - 6 week evening course, Wednesdays.

  • Unit 15 Royal William Yard Plymouth (map)

Ever wondered about large scale jewellery manufacture?

This 6 week course will lead you through the jewellery manufacturing process from initial ideas to finished products.

The course will be tailored to each person’s individual needs, no experience necessary and beginners welcome.

You’ll learn basic jewellery making techniques such as soldering, piercing, forming to begin with before going onto design your very own piece that you will cast, clean and polish.

This course is focused on the casting process so you will have the opportunity to make a master - model of a link for example which we will take a mould from and cast into silver. The mould will be yours to take home and to make infinite metal castings from !

Why not make an articulated necklace or bracelet? Or design your own chain?

The choice is entirely yours.

*This price includes silver test pieces, a mould, tuition and refreshments during the course. Silver casting grain is not included.
